The Beach

From reading the journal articles we discovered interesting facts about the beach.
Here is what each reading group discovered:

Switzerland

Rubbish, Rubbish Everywhere

We are starting a Waste Audit on our school. 
We were surprised at how much rubbish we have for a small school. 
We think we need to make changes.

Goldilocks in Dance

We worked in small groups to turn the story of Goldilocks into dance.

Maori Language Week.

We had a go at making our own learning movies to teach Te Reo.

We are Creative!!!

We don't have any seesaws at school so we made our own!!!

Breakfast Movie

On Fieldays Friday half the class was away. The rest of us worked on an educational breakfast movie.

Casey & Lachlan's Update

Yay we won the heat pump & $500.  We won against Somerville INT that had around 800 pupils.  We would to thank all that  supported us in the competition and got family to help.       
Our school celebrated Tane Mahuta &  Arbor day.   We all had lots of afternoons reaching and finally we went into the native area and did some art  activities. We had lots of fun. 
 We went to the Playcentre and showed our books 
to them.  We had a lot of fun making the books. We also enjoyed presenting them to the little kids.

Hitachi Competition

The Yellow Reading group had a challenge to create a video that showed an outdoor activity inside.

While the rest were at the Rippa Rugby tournament the 6 of us re-created our version of Goldilocks & the 3 Bears.
