Valentines Day

Today we wore red because it is Valentines day. The class all got cards and the Valentines fairy came and gave everyone a treat. Inside each card our secret person wrote something we were good at and something nice about us.

We forgot to give out the milk so we had some milk with our lunch. Most of the little kids made a dam in the sand pit. The boys were playing ZOMBIE TAG. Bailey and I were bored so our teacher said we could do the blog since we are blog reporters for the week.

5 Minute Writing Challenge

We learnt how to write complex sentences using a conjunction at the beginning. We were given a challenge to write 4 or more sentences in 5 minutes that included 2 complex sentences and a sentence that started with a conjunction. We were not allowed to use a conjunction twice.

Arbor Day

On Arbor Day Lily, Zarnia & Alexis were the only Room 9 students at school! The rest of the class was off winning the PTA hockey cup.
They researched and discovered many interesting facts about Arbor Day. They turned their research into this great movie.
